Some videos are blurry, or don't show at all. You've made me register to learn beyond an introduction. I can't help others, even with a finger alphabet at that point. That free 'lesson' at the end of unit one was a review for the app. Call it what it is and take it out of the lineup, or add sentence/ app guides to it, so I can learn how to explore the app. Your paywall on the basics, like a dictionary, ought to be free, if I don't know the alphabet off the top of my head.

I love this. Always been interested in sign but anxiety held me back for so much. Now I'm learning at 32! Free version only (am broke) and I appreciate what they do offer free. Though you can't use the fancy features, you CAN go back through the lessons. The wait period after each set is nice too. It forces you to reflect on what you learned. Or encourages you to pay/seek out more online. lol

I took a break for a while and now the app is different. Nearly everything requires a paid subscription now. The free "lessons" don't demonstrate the sign before you have to name the sign, so how is that a lesson? It's a quiz! Also, the flashcards are now locked to paid subscriptions only. There is nothing beneficial about the free version. I can't afford a subscription, so this app is of no help to me anymore. I deleted my account and will be going back to another ASL app I used previously.

What’s new

In this version we move over to a new "free to play" model. Our goal is to make sign language accessible for everyone, and this is a step in that direction. Free users can do a limited amount of new lessons per day. Premium users can do lessons as quickly as they want, and have access to a wider range of features.
