A Better Routeplanner is the world's most appreciated service to plan, learn and dream about Electric Vehicles - EVs. Simply select your vehicle model, enter your destination and hit plan to get a full trip plan including charge stops and trip duration.
When you are ready to drive it, just go to driving mode and use ABRP as a real-time plan follow-up tool and even navigator, replan as necessary and get continuously updated information about your trip.

I paid for the subscription. The app is EXTREMELY slow. The app does not correctly integrate with android auto and will not properly update the phone display versus android auto display. When getting close to a charger suddenly it says the plan is no longer available and tries to route me further on burning more battery buffer, and it has done this repeatedly. I'm not sure I can trust this and I do not think it's worh ANY subscription fee because the app is buggy, SLOW, and unreliable.

There's a bit of a learning curve, but that's probably because ABRP is so technically deep. For long trips it's great when paired with a compatible OBDII device. The ability to see what my state of charge will be at the next waypoint or destination is super helpful. The little icon showing the speed and status of my next charge stop is good too.

5.0 appears to have resolved and streamlined my previous issues: Premium Subscription using the VW ID4 with Android Auto. I'm also using enode for vehicle live SOC (state of charge) data. I'm quite impressed with the 'set it and forget it' overhaul this update accomplished. Offline maps isn't available yet, maybe it's coming. But I can't ignore the improvements elsewhere.
