• The Ace Retailer Mobile Assistant (formerly titled Ace Ordering App) is a mobile application designed exclusively for Ace Hardware retailers. It has been enhanced to include more functionality designed to improve the employee experience giving them easier access to information and reducing steps and clicks. This app provides mobile capabilities to search, evaluate and order product as well as the ability to manage acehardware.com orders and more.

• Additional app features:
o View item information by entering a SKU or UPC and confirm available quantity in your RSC.
o View Item sales and purchase history.
o View item level Ace pricing information as well as competitor pricing (when available).
o Build a basket for multiple items or quickly submit an “Express Checkout” for easy ordering.
o Enable “Multi-Store” for easy ordering across your entire chain or a subset of stores within your chain.
o Enhanced logon screen includes a Forgot Password option to reset your password.
o Enhanced landing page with multi-store selector and Shopping Cart header icon.
o Fulfill AOS Orders app used to progress your acehardware.com orders from anywhere in your store. Create Custom delivery routes for all orders placed through Ace Hardware.com or the ACENET Assembly & Delivery app.
o Lookup Acehardware.com orders by Last Name, AOS order number, or the ACENET Assembly & Delivery order number.
o Complete your delivery and capture the proof of delivery by taking a photo or customer signature.
o View delivery routes through a map view with delivery markers for all required deliveries.
o Ace Convention section provides all your showing ordering options.
o Zebra TC51/56 Profile Integration to allow for seamless scanning of UPC and or shelf tags.

Ratings and reviews

This app has a ton of great features but is horrbly optimized. I don't get crashing anymore and for the first 10-20 minutes it runs great, but then the app slows down to a crawl. Takes almost a whole minute to load one item sometimes. Killing and reopening the app fixes it but only at 10-20 minutes at a time then I have to restart it again. Makes it extremely frustrating to use over the course of the work day. Happens on my personal phone as well as our Zebra scanners.

Edit: 10/27/22 - The app doesn't start most of the time I need it. Wifi, cell signal, doesn't matter. I don't know what happened to this app, but it has gotten much worse to use. It won't launch, it freezes, it take too long to execute a search. Fix this... Employees need this to work correctly. The 123/ABC button is the most annoying thing I've ever seen in an app. Makes using the app extremely frustrating.

No notifications of new orders, the ui is garbage, the barcode scanner almost never works. Load times are horrendous, it crashes every other search, if it even properly searches at all. Keeps throwing error codes and "item not found" on stuff it just looked up. Seriously, it just gets worse, what are you doing?
