This is a simplified default phone and message application which is designed to automate and restrict action according to user needs. It can be use for an alarm system or by people with disability.
At the beginning the application is presenting all the features of the default phone and of the default message application. That is the user can dial a phone number from the menu and can pick up receive or hang up an incoming phone call. The user can as well write a SMS message text from the menu and receive a SMS message text.
The application can be set to only operate with a single button:
From the menu Settings it is possible to make restriction. All the outgoing text and message will be initiate with the green button. The radio button in the settings panel can be set to either *Voice Call” or “Text Message” in order to trigger respectively a phone call or a SMS when the green button is long pressed. In addition the access to the menu can be restricted with a password. Then a long click on the green button will open a panel where the user can enter the phone number and eventually a message.
The application can be set to only operate with a single contact destination:
From the menu Settings it is possible to choose a contact from the phone. This contact will be used to fill the destination phone number when the green button is long press. This number can be changed but it will only trigger a call or an sms if the option “Block call Out” is not checked.
The application can completely automate the outgoing call:
From the settings a long press on the button “Start Service” will lock the outgoing to the Contact previously selected. In case of SMS the message containing the GPS location and number of step will be sent. The phone is automatically calling back or texting back when the caller defined as the application contact manager. Other caller will be ignored or optionally blocked. A text message will contain the state of the application unique button, and sensor information about GPS location and number of step if the hardware is available on the phone model.
This application is simplifying the complex Smartphone telephone system to an elementary green, orange, red state. Rest of the operative system will be unavailable while the service is running.
