We invite students, families, and readers of all ages to a world of reading inspiration and motivation. You can create profiles for everyone in your family within a single library or Beanstack Go account, or you can use SSO to sign in to any of your students’ school accounts and swiftly toggle between them. Beanstack helps you grow your reading habits together, while also logging and tracking reading progress individually. We never sell your data or use it to show you ads, so Beanstack is safe for everyone.

Ratings and reviews

Third update: I wrote to the Zoobean staff after they addressed my last review and they were really helpful. The app has been great to keep track of my daughter's reading. It's connected to my local library so we can participate in reading challenges. If you try to save too many books quickly the app will lag, so go slow. I usually enter our reading in batches because I try not to use my phone when I'm with my daughter. The app allows this type of tracking, so I don't feel rushed.

Before the last 2 or 3 updates, I had never had an issue with this app. Now, however, there is always something glitching. I have to close out completely and restart because it will just freeze mid logging. This morning, I logged my child's reading, and their streak is gone, but if you go to the reading session, every single one is there, and yet the calendar shows 8 days of logged reading missing. It's so strange.

Conceptually nice but hasn't worked well for me. I like the idea of the barcode scanner, but I had to manually fix all of the information that populated from it, anyway. I like the badges for time spent reading, but they don't work with the the way I read, which is often interrupted. I like being able to participate in special challenges, but I don't like that you can't read about them before joining them. (Also, no button to remove them.) Finally, there are too many bugs and a confusing UI.
