About this app

This app simultaneously generates binaural beats and noise to help you focus, sleep, or relax.

How to Use
Wave Settings
First, set the base frequency. Next, set the frequency difference. The app will generate a sound at the base frequency and a second sound at a slightly higher frequency.

For example, if you set the base frequency to 50 Hz and the difference to 2 Hz, the app will generate sounds at 50 Hz and 52 Hz.

The default setting is for the left ear to receive the base frequency and the right ear to receive the higher frequency. You can switch this with a button.

Noise Selection
Choose your preferred sound from five different types of noise.

Presets
You can save your wave and noise settings as a preset. Just tap a saved preset to apply the settings.

Timer
To use the timer, click Settings, set the desired time, and then press Start. The timer and audio are controlled separately. If you turn on "Start audio with timer start," the sound will begin playing when you press the timer start button.

What are Binaural Beats?
Binaural beats, which literally means "two-ear beat," use the brain's tendency to synchronize its brainwaves with the difference in frequency between two different sounds played in each ear.

By listening to different frequencies in the left and right ears, binaural beats can help you control your brainwaves to improve concentration, relax, or fall asleep. It is said that exposing each ear to a slightly different frequency can create a resonant beat, or "hum," that can induce brainwaves similar to those found during meditation. The resulting low-frequency signal is believed to have healing effects by influencing brainwaves.

Note: Since the "hum" is created artificially by the brain, you need to use headphones or earphones to hear the effect. Listening through speakers will not work.

Brainwaves, Frequencies, and Effects
Alpha waves: 8-14 Hz (relaxed, focused state)

Beta waves: 14-30 Hz (tense, irritated, deep thought)

Gamma waves: 30+ Hz (excited state)

Delta waves: 0.5-4 Hz (deep sleep)

Theta waves: 4-7 Hz (light sleep, meditative state)

What are Monaural Beats?
Monaural beats are a special method of making low-frequency sounds audible to the human ear that are normally imperceptible but still affect the brain. This app generates low-frequency sounds at 25 Hz and 50 Hz.

Noise Selection
You can choose from white, pink, brown, blue, and violet noise.

I have, QUITE literally, tried all, or nearly all of the binaural, isochronic, solfeggio, etc., with many different variations of the 3 aurally-related themes above, even visually matching lights to the sounds (DANGEROUS! Seizures possible), and...you get the point. While the only thing to consider changing is the swiping as means of selecting a choice, choices are why it still got 5 stars! Fantastic job! I love the freedom of choice, unlike the others that are very limited. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Thank you for download and comment. Current swiping method is not best and I am going to improve the UI to make more user friendly.
