edit: My original review below was in 2016 and STILL appplies.. that's how amazing it is and continues to be. This app is super intuitive, easy to use, and the pictures come out amazing as if you were really scanning them. When I was forced to take online classes for the remainder of my college turn, this was a LIFE SAVER. Not only that, I could scan my homework on the go - at a diner, in the break room, in a car/bus. I couldn't have graduated without it!! I would give it more stars if I could!

The 2 stars are for the much better times before. Lately the ads are something really annoying and frustrating especially for someone who doesn't use the App on a daily basis, it's really rediculoues when you need to use the App once or twice a week like urgently and then you have to wait forever for the ads to end before being able to use it and sometimes you are forced to completely close it and open it again for being stuck in the ad page not knowing how to get back to the App to use it.

Fax function is almost impossible to find. if you search the word "FAX" in the app nothing comes up. The only way to find it is to tap on the three dots under the share function and then scroll to the bottom of all the apps until you see an app Send fax which takes you to a different app which requires payment in order to send a fax. the company responded to this review that fax in CamScanner cost $0.99, but its still not there. Otherwise, good quality scans, intuitive.
