Works quite well. Android phone. The 2 constant notifications in minimized mode are extremely annoying. Yes, thx, I know "Deepl is displaying over other apps", we just talked about this, I gave you access, I know, now stop notifying me about it. And this notification: "Manage Deepl: Show the Deepl icon to translate in any app or hide it when needed" huh, yeah, I know, I turned it on, it's ok, stop constantly notifying. Can't turn notifications off for minimized mode to work.

Absoluely next-level performance in the Romance languages compared to any other translation tool I've yet used. The nuances between Continental and Brazilian Portuguese that it's aware of and employs are particularly impressive! For comparison, Google only begrudgingly accepted that Portuguese is even spoken anywhere but Brazil just a handful of months ago, and even now when you ask for a Continental translation you'll most likely get one more idiomatic to Brazil than Portugal.

Superior translation quality as compared to Google Translate and/or Microsoft Translate. However, the camera translation function is inferior. It does not convert languages in real time. With DeepL you must take a photo and wait. Also, the number of languages is far more limited. But, the major Western languages are covered and, with respect to those, such as German, French et. al., Deepl offers considerable superior translation quality, very close to equaling a real human.
