Gnoki is a map chat app free for use - no advertisements.
You can chat with people around you, freely, simple and in an anonymous way anywhere in the world. Just post your message and someone nearby you will respond. You can ask for help, instructions, directions, recommendations or simply communicate with strangers.
• Messages area – Type your message and only people within about 100 meters of you can see your message - NOBODY else. In this way, only someone within your area can respond to you. Only the location of the message is stored and NOT the user location. No tracking - the location is only used when the message is sent.
• Tagged messages – Tag your message and interact with people with the same tag and interests. You can use a tag within your messages area or globally.
• Anonymous way – Just a username is used for chatting with others - no personal information and no private data.
• No account – You have the possibility to use Gnoki without an account (anonymous account) - no personal registration. But pay attention that you cannot keep your user/username and messages when changing the device/reinstalling the app. If you want to change the device or just reinstall the app, please upgrade to a permanent account by signing up with your phone number or Google account.
• Be quick – The messages are stored on server between 24 and 30 hours. Afterwards they are going to be deleted permanently. Thus, you can only see the messages posted in this time frame - the last 24 hours messages.
• Be notified – Every time someone replies to your message, you get a notification.
• Battery life – The app is optimized to not drain your battery - the location is retrieved only when app is in use (foreground).
