About this app

This is an app version of the free website goblin.tools, a collection of small, simple, single-task tools, mostly designed to help neurodivergent people (ADHD, Autism, OCD, BPD, all are welcome!) with tasks they find overwhelming or difficult.

Tools include
- A Magic Todo list that automatically breaks down tasks into steps
- The Formalizer that transforms your language to be more formal, sociable, concise, or many other options
- The Professor explains anything to you, with an example
- The Judge that helps with interpreting tone
- The Estimator that can guess at a timeframe for an activity
- The Compiler to take entire braindumps and turn them into actionable tasks
- The Chef, who turns a description of what ingredients and tools you have in your kitchen into a real recipe

And many more to come!

The website is free and publicly available. Purchases of this app go first towards keeping the site free and ad-free, before supporting the author.

Ratings and reviews

While a lot of the tools can be helpful the interface isn't dyslexic friendly which a lot of people with neurodivergence have. It would be better if there was an option to increase size of font or change colour so its not just black and white as it would be more accessible. Night mode isn't really enough. It's also very buggy when I try and change how long tasks take when I putting time.

Not sure I'd consider myself 'neurodivergent', more like 'lazy at times' but having tested the platform on the website and seeing the amount of love and effort the developer puts in, he's more than welcome to the 89p it cost for the chef feature alone. Great job. Edit - Estimator doesn't seem to do anything for me. Not even a loading indicator. Just straight up nope, nada, nothing.

The most useful app and tool I've ever had in my life. I'm constantly overwhelmed by tasks and not getting started. I loose focus during tasks, cant decide what order to do things. This keeps me on track, focused and enables me to function more efficiently. It's already saved me time and energy. It's a real boost completing steps on the list and actually finishing a task. Don't question the order of the tasks, the stuff I normally put off till last and end up not doing are first on the list. 🩷
