So useful as some people don't have apps. Update May 25. Even with the ongoing problems with some pages not opening, I have been able to set up apps to replace malfunctioning ones of other companies. This alone makes this by far the most useful app on my phone. Hence, it is my decision to give you 5 stars But not all widows can be opened. It fails where other browsers have no problem. Is rare, but a nuisance.

This is more than just another mobile web browser. It allows me to keep all my news sources in one place. I can easily bookmark the same website with 2 different logins. I can view web pages in dark mode. I can filter the ads. I can bookmark a website in the form of a mini app. These features are available in other apps, but not so well packaged. Hermit has become my favorite way of reading web content on my phone.

Exceptional application. Gives back power (over the web and Android) to the user. Premium features are worth gold – especially if you know how to make your own user scripts. I recommend using with Eruda (mobile developer tools) to reverse-engineer websites in the absence of a PC. • Edit: The 3 October 2023 update has introduced "Downloaded files open automatically when ready". It's extremely inconvenient and there's no way to turn it off. I'll have to revert to the older version.
