I'm struggling to use this app with Chromecast. When Casting I get to the end of an advert break then instead of resuming the program, the stream fails with a notice to check my internet connection. There are no connections problems and the program streams flawlessly. But I have to disconnect from the Chromecast, watch the ads then reconnect once the ads are done.

Ads are incredibly annoying, so admitted defeat and subscribed to ITV X Premium. Something went wrong as I was subscribing. Now each time I attempt to restore my subscription, it just keeps telling me something went wrong and to try again later - helpful! Meanwhile I'm still being hammered with ads. Close to giving up and deleting to the app altogether as it's starting to get on my nerves. I'll just stick to recording the programmes on my Youview box and fast forwarding to ads instead.

Hands down the worst on demand app out there. The old ITV hub was better and it is laughable that they want you to go premium and still watch ads. The only on demand app I use that struggles to play the actual programme after the adverts. Slow, clunky, buffering issues (don't blame my network) and lacks innovation and intuitive controls.
