If an incident occurs on the road, we make it easy for you. Just follow our guided process in the app, and we'll help you manage the incident, launching the assistance service you need at that moment.
How does myIncidence work?
1. Download the app and follow the steps for configuration and registration, leaving it ready for when you need to report a roadside incident.
2. Link your beacon:
- IoT (Help Flash IoT, Help Flash IoT+, or Hella IoT). You can check connectivity, battery status, and location, and you'll receive a notification when it's reported to DGT3.0.
- Help Flash Smart: the only beacon that connects via Bluetooth to myIncidence. To automatically detect the activation of this "Smart" beacon, the app uses a foreground service with Bluetooth and location access, even when not in use. This allows the incident reporting process to be initiated immediately in the event of an emergency. This feature is only activated if the user links a compatible device and expressly accepts the permissions.
3. In the event of a roadside incident:
- Activate the app manually or by turning on your linked beacon.
- We will ask you a few questions before contacting the emergency services or your roadside assistance service, depending on the type of incident.
- We will notify you and send your exact location (service available for emergencies and customers with active policies from insurers with current membership agreements).
- You can share your location with your contacts.
- If the tow truck is attached and geolocated, you will be able to see its route in real time until it reaches your vehicle.
- Cancel (if it was an error) or close your incident, and give us your feedback on the service so we can continue to improve.

INFORMATION ABOUT FOREGROUND SERVICE PERMISSION WITH THE SMART MODEL:
This permission is only requested from users who link a HelpFlash Smart beacon, which connects via Bluetooth. In this case, the app needs to run a foreground service to maintain an active connection with the device, even when the screen is off or the app is in the background. This allows the beacon to be activated and automatically launch the guided roadside assistance process.
This permission is not required for beacons connected via IoT technology (such as Help Flash IoT or Hella IoT), as their operation is based on direct connectivity with the DGT 3.0 platform.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Use the app responsibly and only when truly needed. The system is connected to an emergency triage service, so a real incident will be generated every time you activate this feature.
