Ratings and reviews

So far, so good, but some basic features are missing. Like changing the date on photos. And why aren't albums sorted by the most recent photo first just like it is in the "All photos" section? Another basic feature that could be useful is cropping/rotating. I'm okay with not having all the other fancy editing tools that other apps provide but those two are pretty basic.

The app started uploading photos from all my device folders automatically. Instead it would be better to either ask the folders first, or only upload camera folder by default and opt in for additional folders in the settings. Also there should be a "toggle all" switch in the Device folders menu. And should be possible to switch off videos backup. Can't delete photos from the cloud without deleting from the device :( I wish some day we will have a good European alternative.

The app isn't overloaded with features. It's easy to use. The app integrates into the storage frame work, so that you can directly access Jottacloud from other apps like internal storage. TLS v1.3 and IPv6 are a big plus. The new AI-featured image search works pretty well. EDIT: 2 years have passed and I don't see any progress. Many basic features are still missing and sharing options are very barebones. I will be using Ente Photos instead which is much more advanced and offers E2E.
