This is very good. The default Gboard has real problems when you have a USB keyboard attached to Google TV -- mainly that you can't initiate a search after typing in words. This app doesn't have that problem, with an integrated SEARCH button on-screen. Though I really wish there was an option to have that SEARCH button focused by default (instead of the t key in the middle of the keyboard). That way after I type in words and press ENTER on my keyboard, it would search instead of typing "t".

This app is so bad it can even do what its supposed to. Its really bad even with external controllers where the letter input selector doesn't even go to the left side and sometimes goes straight out of my screen. Although its not even designed for touch its still bad there too. Deserved 1 star

broken on galaxy s26. touch inputs are off from where you press and half the keyboard is missing in vertical mode. works great with a gamepad though
