New update is very unstable. Sometimes I can see my cameras , most of the time I can't. Pointless update. Please re-instate old version which worked fine. Have been told it could be a network issue....Don't know how as the only change to my system is the app update. Lurex using excuses for something they can't explain. Think I may change to the Arlo cams.

UPDATE 04.08.22 my recorder is already plugged directly into the router. Terrible app which is rendering my system useless! I have had my system a a couple of years and the app used to work well but now I cannot connect to my device at all, it just says connect close in red. I haven't changed anything it is the same device, network and phone. I have tried everything including reinstalling the app. Reported the issue through the app weeks ago and had no response. Infuriating! Avoid Lorex! (UK)

Hi Paul, We are very sorry you are experiencing connectivity issues. This could be a networking issue with your system, and we recommend you move your recorder or cameras closer to your router. Further distances can result in slower network speeds and issues such as this. Please let us know if this still persists. Thanks

Most of the time the application won't connect to my cameras, even when I am on the same local network. And why does the app need access to my location or my telephone ? I understand the access to the storage, microphone and even the camera, even though if I don't use those features, I don't see why the app wouldn't be able to work, if I just look at video footage without all this access. Don't bother to respond if you're going to say that the app needs them to work. It is just poor software

Dear DJ P,
Please try this fix:
1. Navigate to Devices
2. Tap on your device
3. Write down your device ID and password, by tapping the eye icon beside password
4. Delete the device from Devices menu by swiping left on the Device Name
5. Add device again with written down credentials from step 3.
