About this app
ELIT TYPE2NEK6 + 7 is an adapter designed for testing of charging stations. The adapter is controlled with this app and results are read with an Android based phone / tablet or PC. In the software you simulate the different statuses that the charging station and the electric car go through before charging is started, so you can verify the functionality of the charging station.
The maximum charging current available is communicated from the charging station with a pulse modulated signal, this can be read in the software. This ensures that the charging station is correctly set and that any load balancing on the system works.
It is also possible to make error simulation of the short-circuit diode on the car side as well as the fault of the CP signal. According to the norm, the charging station must disconnect the voltage within 100 milliseconds.
ELIT TYPE2NEK6 + 7 also has wires with 4mm plugs for connection to an installation tester. When you simulate the status of the electric car and come to status C (charging in progress) you will get access to doing electrical tests that you would have done on a normal electrical outlet.
A very handy APP that, together with the compact and easy-to-use test adapter, will suit everyone who installs charging stations.
