The HP Print Service Plugin is the only print driver that you'll need to easily print documents, emails and pictures from print-supported applications to a variety of HP Printers, including HP OfficeJet, HP LaserJet, HP DesignJet, HP Photosmart, HP DeskJet and HP Envy.

You can discover and print to HP printers that are:
• Connected to the same network as your mobile device
• Broadcasting a Wi-Fi Direct network
• Connected to the mobile device via a USB On-the-Go cable

Just select Print or Share to PSP when you need to print. Just tap the menu button to reveal the print option. Location of menu button may vary depending on your model of Android™ device.

The HP Print Service Plugin simplifies printing on your Android™ Lollipop™ (v5.0) and newer devices. If you use Android 6 (Marshmallow) or earlier, you might need to enable the HP Print Service Plugin in your device's settings

UPDATE: I now have an LG V40 with Android 9 and it still works well, but still is slow to start. The app works very well on my HTC 10. However, I could not figure out how to print a return label with "fit to page". It kept printing too large. Also, when printing direct with Wifi, it is slow to access the printer and then slow to start. That's using a 5 Ghz LAN. I love that it can save a document as a pdf file easily.

Very useful. I can print with my phone, computer or tablet. hp upgrades continuously so it's always in top form. I've been using this since 2012 in its various forms and upgrades and it's always top notch. When using your Android you need to determine how it shows up in the menu, more specifically, as Print or Share. If it's Share, then you chose print from there. I love the convenience of this app!!!

Easy to set up and use, no problems so far with Galaxy S6 and has made life a lot easier! update: 2019..I now have to constantly resync to print. It's not a wifi issue so has to be within the app. still a great printer! 5-29-20..I don't know what's changed but HP is not working well with my printer, nor is their app. I always have to reconnect to print and messages I'm receiving now come from two different places. Still like the print service, but somethings changed for the worse.
