HP Advance is not a stand-alone application; it does require the use of Mobile Connector.

HP Advance utilizes the powerful capabilities of HP output management software by providing an easy to use interface that allows users to:
- print a document or web page within seconds
- select only authorized printers
- search for authorized printers by printer name, long name or printer location
- print multiple copies
- release print jobs

All these features are available with a few simple touches and without requiring the use of a configured mail client on the mobile device.

Ratings and reviews

terrible. I'm not even sure what this app was trying to do. it didn't even render correctly on my pixel 8 Pro and I wasn't any closer to printing anything after I installed this app. the >3.5 stars for reviews at the time of this writing were fully justified

Garbage app does not work on Pixel 10. I had to dig out my pixel 4 to set up my printer as well as print or scan, in fact it's been trying to load for 15 minutes now on my pixel 10.

Working as expected, some negative reviews are simply people not sure what this application is for. Unless you are part of a company that uses HPA solution don't install it, and ofc certain models are not support because they are not MFP devices or they are simply 10+ years old, HP makes robust printers but they simply cannot support it software wise for long periods.
