About this app

Network Analyzer can help you diagnose various problems in your wifi network setup, Internet connectivity, and also detect various issues on remote servers thanks to the wide range of tools it provides.

It is equipped with a fast wifi device discovery tool, including all the LAN device's addresses and names. Further, Network Analyzer contains standard net diagnostic tools such as ping, traceroute, port scanner, DNS lookup, and whois. Finally, it shows all neighbouring wi-fi networks together with additional details such as signal strength, encryption and router manufacturer to help discovering the best channel for a wireless router. Everything works with both IPv4 and IPv6.

Wifi signal meter:
- Both graphical and textual representation showing network channels and signal strengths
- Wifi network type (WEP, WPA, WPA2)
- Wifi encryption (AES, TKIP)
- BSSID (router MAC address), manufacturer, WPS support
- Bandwidth (Android 6 and newer only)

LAN scanner:
- Fast and reliable detection of all network devices
- IP addresses of all discovered devices
- NetBIOS, mDNS (bonjour), LLMNR, and DNS name where available
- Pingability test of discovered devices
- Detection of IPv6 availability

Ping & traceroute:
- Round trip delay including IP address and hostname for every network node
- Support of both for IPv4 and IPv6

Port scanner:
- Fast, adaptive algorithm for scanning the most common ports or user specified port ranges
- Detection of closed, firewalled, and open ports
- Description of the known open port services

Whois:
- Whois of domains, IP addresses and AS numbers
- Support of both for IPv4 and IPv6

DNS lookup:
- Functionality similar to nslookup or dig
- Support for A, AAAA, SOA, PTR, MX, CNAME, NS, TXT, SPF, SRV records
- Support of both for IPv4 and IPv6

Network information:
- Default gateway, external IP (v4 and v6), DNS server
- Wifi network information such as SSID, BSSID, IP address, HTTP proxy, subnet mask , signal strength, etc.
- Cell (3G, LTE) network information such as IP address, signal strength, network provider, MCC, MNC, etc.

More
- Full support of IPv6
- Detailed help
- Regular updates, support page

I have now downloaded and installed v103 from the website and it's looking great 😃 Previously, I had to stop all Android auto-updates just because of the annoying Android decision about the restricted interface. I *can* go to my routers to find the MAC addresses but then the extra work done by this app has to be undertaken manually. BTW, I do understand the rationale for the restrictions. For now, I still block auto-updates as I get forced to see what's changing and how often. Thanks Jiri.

There's a new version from the 3.12 series - 103.12 where I increased the version number so Play Store doesn't attempt to auto-update it. I've also backported some features from 4.x releases. Check the corresponding FAQ.

In multisim, it always shows only "mostly" SIM1 info (despite having granted Phone permission). Information from the other SIM is incorrectly mixed (SIM MCC is from the mobile data active SIM). You still need to entirety disable a SIM in order to be able to gather the information from the other one. OnePlus 9 with latest firmware. In a Galaxy S25 seems to work better.

Targeted ads using cookies only. No information from the app itself is shared with anyone. Edit: I've addressed this issue in the 4.1 version of the app where the cookie consent isn't mandatory to launch the app. Sorry for the trouble.

they did a great job in this app. I use it frequently. It's handy for finding your nearby WiFi or cell tower has the stronger signal, or at home to see if your neighbors WiFi is possibly contending with your own on the same channel in parts of your home that are weaker. if you just like being geeky and scanning local WiFi signals, or port scanning your own it does that too.

What’s new

- add support for 6GHz Wi-Fi band (on compatible devices)
- show more details about Wi-Fi 7 networks
- add support for multiple SIMs (can be shown by using the "Show Multi-SIM Information" button at the bottom of the Information page, requires the READ_PHONE_STATE permission)
- various stability fixes and UI improvements
- if there are no problems with this release, the "103.12" release with these features will be made available on the FAQ page in a few weeks
