Don't sleep on the Zelda Notes app - it seemed a bit underwhelming when they announced it, but it's actually quite useful and adds both achievements and a surprising amount of lore to the game. The most useful feature is the navigation -- I usually play with the hud turned off, so it's nice to have the map open on my phone while I play (it updates like GPS). The QR code feature will probably become more useful when people start sharing their more elaborate contraptions online.

I've edited my review as the app now has much more features for more games. It also is more stable and is overall a wonderful improvement... in particular with the addition of the Zelda games. It has never crashed and is fast and responsive. It connected to my Nintendo account and in turn to my switch 2 with no issues. 👏

The app is starting to be useful, some good improvements, it still needs a status for the multiplayer so players can know if there's server maintenance. There could be an option to purchase a game, or future membership fee for the online service when it comes into affect, ready to be downloaded etc, on the Switch. The ability to see which friends are online. And notifications for purchased games e.g. Game updates, server issues, or events for a specific game. And a report bug or feature. Chat appears to have been improved.
