This app is as dated and horribly maintained as the entire pool industry. (20 years behind the times) The app confidently says one thing (like your pump is on high, your lights are on) but reality is often completely different. I get random emails that say "Alarm" in the subject but the body of the email tells me there is a firmware upgrade available for my controller (which when I check, it's not). why would you put "alarm" for the subject of an email that is regarding a firmware update?

This app is terrible!!! 80% of the time, it doesn't even control the devices! I turn the pump on... the app says it's on, but it's not! Same with the lights! Then, 30 seconds later, the screen updates and shows that the stuff is off. What is the sense of having an app if I still have to walk out to the controller to manually turn anything on or off?!? FIX THIS!! And don't tell me to check my Wi-Fi. I'm an IT professional, and my network is beyond solid!

The app and servers should be much better now with recent updates to our servers, the App and OmniLogic new firmware. If you are still seeing bugginess after the upgrade, please email us at customerappsupport@hayward.com.

App works most of the time. Biggest problem is it sometimes does not follow the schedule. Also, on occasion, the pool light is set to come on "Afternoon Sky" blue in the evening and it comes on Green. Right now, the schedule shows the pump should be on, but its Off. I am very technical but cannot find anything at the panel or the app to shows logging of events, just notifications. There is no email address to send technical info. Have called and someone should contact me. Maybe hackers.
