Ratings and reviews

Worked fine until the last update. Now it doesn't "browse" at all. It hangs for a few minutes, then shows "webpage not found". This newest version does exactly the same for internet content and local stored content. Since there are no "undo" or "revert to previous version" options available, opera is now doing nothing more than taking up space. I don't believe it's the device because I've seen similar reviews by other users. Are there any plans to fix this, or should I uninstall opera?

I've been using Opera for years now, both on PC and mobile (which is why it's 2-stars instead of 1). As of 2 or 3 days ago, all my searches and URLs are sending me to "this page cannot be acessed". Is it an Android error? I had Opera as my default, but Android has been trying to switch default to Chrome for the past few weeks, much to my annoyance. Edit: I can't send anything in at all because the browser won't even connect to the internet (which is clearly working).

Was the best browser. a few updates ago (months now), and continues with the latest version, browsing some websites like CNN's Headline page in Dark mode do not invert black text, so the site is unreadable. it worked great for years but has been broken for a couple of months now. I have sent screenshots to support but no changes have been made. this has been going on for 4 or 5 versions now. I had to move to another browser in the meantime.
