Plabable provides the ultimate resource to revise for the Professional and Linguistic Assessment Board (PLAB) exam which is the main route by which International Medical Graduates demonstrate they have the necessary skills and knowledge to practise medicine in the UK. PLAB part 1 is a three-hour computer-marked written examination comprising 180 single best answer questions. PLAB part 2 is structured as an Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) comprising 16 stations. The scenarios simulate real-life clinical settings and assess a range of skills including history taking, physical examinations, communication, and clinical management. I have a suggestion that will help improve students and help them identify which topics they are weak at.. When the students are writing timed exams, you can try to collect the time taken to solve each question. You create a database and average time to solve each of these questions. and when one particular student takes significantly > average time..Then suggest that student that particular topic. I'm sure you can develop better algorithms but that is an idea I wanted to share.

I am not satisfied with the app at all. You cannot copy a word to translate. You cannot practice in categories with a timer. But the worst thing - is that it is not possible to go through the questions a second time, even if your subscription is still valid for a long time. It is very inconvenient that you cannot check whether you have remembered your mistakes! It would also be nice if it was possible to "hide" some questions. Any way, I do not recommend

it's an extremely helpful app to guide IMG's to their future career in UK. I just studied the gems, revision notes and solved question banks from this app and that's it, I passed my step 1 in my first attempt easily, so highly recommend it.
