Ratings and reviews

It is really easy to use, both before and during a trip. While traveling, you can track your current location and add steps ("posting" and logging activities), but this may drain a bit of battery. You can turn frequency up and down as needed. It would be nice to hide specific sections for certain audiences. Specifically, I want to share my trip publicly, but I have my hotel information saved, which I don't want released. I would also like for everyone to be able to link locations to each step.

Update on 9/16/2025: I have used Polarsteps on many trips. I absolutely love it! So easy to add photos and journal about each stop. I love the sharing feature so friends and loved ones can follow along. I recently did a coast to coast road trip and it was fun for everyone to watch us move real time and see all the fun things we did on the way! I will never travel without it!

Even if you're only going to one town and staying there for a few days. Download this app, every morning post your favorite pictures. You're not going to post them all on instagram after your trip, you're going to take 200 pictures over a long weekend and on your flight home youre going to post 10 pictures and then forget to ever go back and post again.
