Puffin Web Browser is now subscription-based. In addition to the existing $1/month subscription, two new low-cost prepaid subscriptions are available at $0.25/week and $0.05/day. The exact price is subject to the tax, exchange rate, and Google's pricing policy in each country. Puffin's monthly postpaid subscription offers Android's standard 7-day free trial. Puffin's short-term prepaid subscriptions allow users to pay for Puffin only when they need to use Puffin.

Ratings and reviews

No other browser has a limit for normal users. Most have an upgrade to get rid of the adverts, not to limit how much you use it in a 24 hour timeframe. I have loved this app and reccomend it to so many people because of the built in flash player. If you take away the daily limit like one of your other reviewers said, I will edit and change it to 5 stars, as it used to be my prefered browser, but now having to find others (I won't name out of respect) you don't even state how long limit is Gary

Absolutely atrocious. It ended up using 9.5 gigs on my phone, accounting to even more of 12.5 gigs overall. This was in hidden cache, and this equated to more than 700 Spotify songs, hell, even double that wouldn't take up as much space. Do not install, it now wants your location, and I'm not having any of that. You're a browser, you don't need more accurate results based on my location, go away. Let this review be seen, this app used to be okay, but is a memory and is a personal data mine.

Puffin used to be a great little browser that allowed you to get on various apps on Facebook that you couldn't access through other mobile browsers. Really, really disappointed that they've decided to "update" and follow the trend of forcing adverts down your throat at every opportunity in an effort to coerce and annoy you into buying the ad-free version. Too bad you can't download previous versions...

What’s new

Puffin Web Browser is free to download but requires a paid subscription to function. In this release (10.5.0.61369), we fixed several reported issues. Thanks for using Puffin.
