About this app

This is a photography application for RICOH THETA X/Z1/V/SC2/SC2 for Business.

By linking the camera to a smartphone, you can remotely trigger the shutter while performing a live preview, allowing you to take pictures without the reflection of people, which can be used for promotional purposes.

By uploading photos and videos to the cloud, they can be viewed in a 360-degree viewer from a browser, allowing people in distant locations to see what is happening at the site.

*This function is not compatible with RICOH THETA/m15/S/SC.

Shooting function: Linking a smartphone and a camera to take still images and record video. *We plans to expand the shooting functionality.

Transfer and storage of photos and videos taken with the camera: Transfer and storage of photos and videos from the camera to the smartphone, and storage of photos and videos from the smartphone to the cloud.

Viewing 360-degree photos and videos: Viewing with a 360-degree viewer.

so bad I've got no words. I regret buying a Theta. don't do it, the connectivity is in my opinion a true disaster. why do I need to give you a million different permissions on my smartphone, plus all my personal details before I can even just use the camera. it's a nightmare, be warned!

This app is trash. all I wanted was to load up and operate the camera shutter button but they bricked it with a difficult login, marketing, cloud services.... and it NEVER syncs with the camera anymore!!

Update 7/19/25 Newest firmware has bricked the app. Cannot use at all. 0/5 This app does what it's supposed to do at its core, which is control my 360 camera and allow me to take photos and video. But "doing the bare minimum" has never been a great benchmark. All presets reset every time the app is initialized. Can no longer review photos/scans taken directly from the device via the app; have to copy them to your phone first. It's quick but an extra step for every. single. shot.
