This app allows you to control your Philips Smart TV from your smartphone.

Please pay attention, this is not the official Philips Smart TV app, but with this remote control app, you are enable to control it.

The app was developed to help you use your Philips Smart TV device even if you can't find your remote control! but please notice that the app requires your phone to have an IR sensor.

It works, but it's slow, the touchpad and mouse features don't do anything useful, and the ads are so infuriatingly intrusive, the app is practically unusable. Had to watch an ad for nearly every little thing. Select a remote, AD. Use the touch pad that doesn't work, AD. Select the keyboard, AD. Even if you hit the back button, you get an AD! It would be worth buying another remote control to not have to put up with this, which was probably the intention.

The advertisments make this app literally unusable. Two 30 second ads to pick a remote. Then an ad to press a button. Then it prompts me to rate. Then it asks me if the app is working. Then it says its glad its working and prompts me to rate it again. I say no, again and get smacked in the balls with another ad. I know you have to make money, but go to hell my time is more important than that.

Better than all others. I've tried at least a dozen remotes, including all the Philips specific, this is the only one where I don't need to unplug the tv and plug it back in when the tv has been turned off. It has ads, but they are mostly small banners at the bottom of the screen. My specific remote isn't included, but they all work. Thank you for publishing this, our tv stopped accepting input from IR remotes 2 weeks after purchase,......it will be going back to the store in a couple days.
