About this app

Sentara MyChart provides you access to your health information and helps you conveniently, and securely, manage care for yourself and your family members. With Sentara MyChart you can:

·Communicate with your care team.
·Review test results, medications, immunization history, and other health information.
·Schedule and manage appointments, including in-person visits and video visits.
·View your After Visit Summary® for past visits and hospital stays, along with any clinical notes your provider has recorded and shared with you.
·View and pay your medical bills.
·Receive push notifications when new information is available in MyChart. You can check whether push notifications are enabled under the Account Settings within the app.

To access Sentara MyChart, you must first create a Sentara account. To sign up for an account, visit Sentara.com or download the app and click on Sign Up. After you’ve signed up, turn on fingerprint authentication or set up a four-digit passcode to quickly log in without needing to use your Sentara username and password each time. Then, make sure you have push notifications enabled to receive updates on your device when new information is available in Sentara MyChart.

Ratings and reviews

App is pretty easy. Some things can be a bit odd. I dont have any complaints, though I don't use it very often. Seems well enough. im not informed enough to make a complete overall review as I haven't used all of the amenities at hand, so I can't throughly speak on everything. It is certainly a convenience to be able to access some records, schedule some appointments, etc.

The app is having issues uploading insurance information. I went to update my insurance information and it won't upload pics of the insurance card front and back at all. It keeps saying the server is having issues. It's needs to be fixed. It's been doing this for 3 months now. Please fix this issue!

the Sentara app is easy to work with when you want to contact your doctor. when you want to contact billing or financial assistance they are terrible. you can't reach anybody on the phone I don't accept a bill by email and they continually send my bills through email. I can't delete my email because then I can't communicate with my doctor. I have to constantly call them and ask them to mail my bill and they say they mailed the bills don't come and then it's back to calling and being on hold.
