ServiceWA is provided by the WA Government to help people connect with WA State Government services. It is designed for Australian residents or citizens who live in WA, do business here, or are visiting WA.

The ServiceWA app allows you to activate and access select WA Government services in one place.

The App may require you to enable camera or location services based on the service that you enable.

update 2025... was about to uninstall it, as I never use it, but I had a look to see if it has any current use. It has a completely different function to the original (Covid monitoring). Now provides connection to many useful government and Non Gvt services. I have decided to keep it. Same ongoing issue with having to use the awkward MygovID app (back and forth game) if you need to actually login to a service though. I wish they'd replace that awful method and integrate ID within the one app.

absolute nightmare!! I've downloaded 5 time and uninstalled 5 times because when I go to log in, it's just a blank page! I've messaged and asked for help, got absolutely nothing more than I have already tried! they say we need this app, but they have more issues than it's worth. come on, all the technology we have today and they can't make a simple app work!! go figure

It does what it's supposed to (eventually!). The set-up is more complicated than it needs to be, you have to switch between multiple apps and log on to them several times. So it's a pig-of-a-thing to set up and not easy if you're not tech savvy. But it's worth it in the end I guess, because it makes physical check-ins easier. Interesting that when you incorporate "SafeWA" that check in history disappears... I hope the data is still there for contact tracing purposes even if I can't see it...
