About this app

SetEdit or Settings Database Editor app allows you to tweak advanced android system settings that were not possible to do without root.
SetEdit app shows you the content of the android settings config. file, or the so-called settings database as a list of key-value pairs – inside SYSTEM, GLOBAL, SECURE or ANDROID properties tables – then allows you to set, edit, delete or add new ones. SetEdit app can be an invaluable tool if you know what are you doing. however, if you're not careful it is very likely to mess something up.
SetEdit allows you to do many useful tunings that can improve the user experience UX, change and tune the System UI, find hidden settings or even trick the system to gain free services.

It's definitely an improved app compared to SetEdit. It'd be very useful if in the next update you guys can add a feature that keep the settings stayed after every reboot, and one of the bugs i found is that settings don't apply if you search the parameter (someone already said it). Other than that, keep up the good work!

To test, I chose one very common setting, and nothing, as this app doesnt even access the setting - waste of time. Update: No, I'm.not going to do your job for you. I am a programmer, my hourly rate is significant; I've never asked, nor had to ask for input on how to make my application perform as it should, people are not expected to work for free.

Hello, The app sims to be promising, so 3/5, it will be five if someone will help mi with the error that blocks me from actually using it: adb shell pm grant com.netvor.settings.database.editor android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS sh: [7]: adb shell pm grant com.netvor.settings.database.editor android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS: inaccessible or not found ...I'm using Samsung Galaxy S22 with Android 14.
