Ratings and reviews

Had the app for a while but have only just started to regularly use it. Easy to use and offers okay e.g food and occasional fuel. Only negativity is that despite me closing the app down and turning off notifications etc it keeps autostarting and asking me to play the Costa coffee game on my main screen each time I go to look at my phone. I guess it wants to take centre stage but it needs to work in the background. Not sure wether to delete or disable until I need to use the app.

Since the last update a few weeks ago, the app is very slow to open and it no longer recognises location correctly. I have tried to use 'pay at pump' at 3 different locations (50 miles apart), but each time instead of giving me the pay at pump button it gives me directions to the garage I'm at, because it thinks I'm a quarter of a mile away. I've tried restarting and reinstalling but nothing helps. Google maps, Waze and What3Words all know that I'm standing next to your pumps, why don't you?

Buggy app that temporarily just doesn't work. Sometimes the app doesn't load, just stays stuck on a white page with the Shell logo. A lot of pages you attempt to navigate to pop up that are not working and take you back to the previous. You don't get many benefits to having the app or signing up, they are so few and far between, and normally have so little value to them. It isn't really worth being a Shell customer unless you really need their 99 Octane petrol
