This product functions... passably... as a kitchen scale (even if the scale constantly beeping is irritating beyond belief). The problem lies in the many other features the app supposedly offers but falls short on. Most features outside of the scale, namely the Cafe option crashes constantly and is almost entirely unusable. This is very disappointing. One star until I can actually use the feature I bought this thing for instead of another, cheaper electric scale.

Searching for blueberries caused the app to crash. You're only allowed to manually enter 5 foods a day. App interface is confusing. I've had to restart the apl several times to get it to connect to the scale. Had I known the app was this terrible I wouldnt have bought the scale. Update: still cant add more than 5 foods manually per day, still crashes when searching for food. So disappointed, especially with the generic response that didn't detail which issue was being fixed.

I've owned the scale for about 3 weeks, and the app will not work anymore. It crashes when opening saying Smart Scale has stopped working. Updated android. Still doesnt work. Reinstalled the app. still doesnt work. So now the scale is basically useless, as there is no display, and the app keeps crashing. Also, the scale no longer supports myfitness pal, which was not obvious from its description on amazon and one of the major reasons I bought it.
