Smart-ID is the easiest, most convenient and safest way to authenticate yourself online – check your online bank account, access e-services and confirm transactions.

Smart-ID allows you to give signatures equal to handwritten signatures (except Basic level), which complies with EU regulations about qualified electronic signatures.

The app is used for key management: it creates your private keys while account registration and later mediates authentication and signature requests. A challenge to go through registration. A technical issue one after another. Even with the help of the customer service rep, I wasn't able to register with my ID card. The app was taking the photo of it before it even had actually fitted into the required frame. After the 11th attempt, it did. Then the NFC chip wouldn't scan, though it perfectly worked on ReadID Me app. In the end, with the same hassle taking a photo, I managed to register with the passport. Not all have a passport, though

For me it works well but did try to register an account for child and it was not possible due to system error (as a parent I could not sign approval for account registration). Did speak to customer service - first replied that the issue is known and others have the same problem but it will be fixed by next day at latest. However the issue is not fixed 10days later and now the customer service replied that it will be unable to solve the issue, advised to look for other service...

Fantastic app. Never got any problem. Please give an option to toggle on and off to shuffle the number pad numbers. So, people won't easily identify the code when typing. It's a option in lot of authenticators. It can be easily implemented.
