Created an account without issues, and have been using it ever since - the majority of online services in Estonia support this app as a login method. Its very fast and convenient. After 2 years of using the app, it had never failed me, did not have any issues so far. Keep in mind that if you have Blokada or something similar, it will block app notifications, so you would need to whitelist the domain that Smart-ID uses.

Fantastic app. Never got any problem. Please give an option to toggle on and off to shuffle the number pad numbers. So, people won't easily identify the code when typing. It's a option in lot of authenticators. It can be easily implemented.

when it works, it's great, but moving from one phone to another is a nightmare and a buggy mess. on Android 16/pixel 10 pro, I couldn't use mobile ID to migrate, couldn't use the account I have active on my other device to migrate, essentially had to do everything from scratch while my phone repeatedly told me that the app has crashed. You've had 3 years to fix the mobile ID based set-up, why is it still not there? there should also be epilepsy warning for the face scan!!!
