Paid for a Smart Receipts: Expenses Scan (Smart Receipts Plus) subscription and did not get the functionality (adverts still appearing etc.) emailed December 2024 and January 2025. It's now been 4 weeks since last email and no reply. Would not recommend under any circumstances. update: July 2025 - riddled with ads, exporting very sporadic. still would not recommend. problem I have is I've a lot of data to rekey!

It's used to be a great app now, just good. Lost receipt trimming option that worked well. The manual backup option is gone. Subscription has been massively hiked, and the update was forced on me before I could back up, and everything disappeared. It has reappeared, but the whole user interface has changed, and I manually have to add payment methods. Please fix these and I can restore my previous 5 star review.

Since the upgrade and I paid for pro it has lost a load of the images which I discarded so it's cost me money. I have had conversations but looks like receipts are lost. It is a great app when it works so it's a shame I had to cancel. If It can be secure I would give a 5 star. For the record i have 5g connection, the receipts did upload as the ones that disappeared I emailed myself on prior months and disappeared. I did use it correctly as the Ai did the assessment. So there's an issue with App
