i've used surfshark basic plan on my familys phone as well as my pc and laptop everyday for the last 5 years now. i give it a 9/10, i dont really leave reviews unless something becomes invaluable to me. I've no problem downloading games quickly. occasional slow speeds, fix by just reconnect or switching sever. (just 1 button to do) on pc and laptop every few weeks the application get stuck loading on start up. but a restart Always fixs it.

I have been with Surfshark for almost 6 years and this app is back to being perfect (had problems with auto-connect a year ago)! Love the variety of locations I can connect through, the speed and so much more! Unless I have missed something, is there any way you can save the apps chosen to bypass or strictly go through VPN? When I re-install the app after signing out, the ones I have chosen are lost (maybe an option to 'preserve' our 'not preserve' settings maybe?). Otherwise, a great app!

Not entirely smooth sailing. Frequently have to do the annoying 'captcha' type tests when visiting websites. I'm often randomly blocked altogether by others. There are even two that simply won't let me use them at all when connected to a VPN. And then to top it off, the app was telling me I'm connected to a VPN and upon checking my IP address, it most definitely wasn't connected. You need to have confidence in a VPN if you're to get any benefit from it - especially in the UK nowadays.
