Ratings and reviews

Videos auto-play and you can't turn that off. You can't listen to music while using the app because it's constantly interrupted by unwanted videos. There is no honest reason for not allowing people to turn off auto-play. This is so annoying that I now just look at the site on my web browser with an ad blocker and block the vids. I just keep the app for the widget but I wonder if it's even worth it.

I've been a loyal daily user for years, but I'm a day or so away from deleting the app; popup ads have become annoying enough that I'm pretty much done here. Thanks for all you've done, TWN. I'll miss that you used to be more reliable than the other weather apps, I'll miss the quirky little sidebar videos and "here's why..." articles, but if I have to click every X on a Temu ad (or any other) again just to get rid of it, I'm getting rid of *you* forever. Other options exist, after all...

Accurate weather and really appreciate the radar when out for walks , but there are deceptive spam ads all over the Weather network pages - for hearing aids, for life insurance, and they pop up when click on anything, taking me away from the app. Poorly designed and disappointing. I'm okay with commercials, but the spam clickbait must go!
