Very cool idea and app, I enjoy the things I've tried out because of it and the premise of saving a little food waste is always nice. My one gripe is that I wish you could turn on specific store notifications for WHEN their bags go on sale, since I often miss them especially when they're not always at a set time (and even if the app says check at x time it's not always at that time)

The overall expetis a mixed bag. The app itself can be buggy (e.g. an item is unable to check out). I've had merchants cancel on me last minute, even during the pick up window so that I've wasted my time and gas and scheduled my evening in vain. I've had a pickup scheduled after hours and when I arrived, there was no one at the store. When I get cancelled on, I'm told I'll get reimbursed in 2 weeks. Customer service is non-existent. I've gotten spoiled food and food made just for the app.

Two things. One, the website contact submission form just gives an error when I try to submit a message, but their contact email isn't monitored, and you can't even contact them through the app before creating an account which is the very thing I was trying to contact them about, so that's frustrating. Two, The very first thing you see when you launch the app is an account creation / login page. No ability to explore the app to make sure it's going to work for you first. So I deleted it. :(
