Unfortunately Varage Sale is no longer a reliable buy/sell platform after many years of success. The app is full of scammers with fake profiles and fake items asking for e-transfers. Theres no validation for new users. Must pay a monthly subscription fee to post more than 50 items. Notifications dont work (I tried working with tech support but no resolution after many back/forths & they stopped replying). Because notifications dont work buyers & sellers forget about meet ups or miss messages.

Still has intrusive ads. Wherever a notification is for doesn't show in app until sometimes hours later. The app has to be closed and reopened, and maybe the notification will show. This can make selling/buying arrangements difficult for users. Contacting the help desk is not helpful because the answer given is that the problem is on my end, but this complaint is common among users, and after following that instructions the problem persists.

Out of all local online marketplaces, unfortunately VarageSale is the worst. I have many postings on this app however I only keep getting scam messages asking for my banking info or email. Not impressed. This marketplace is like a cesspool or scammers or bots....they just don't have the authentic population yet. Waste of time.
