It is not a terrible app, and does a decent job concerning routing. However it doesn't do a good job concerning being able to choose the shortest route by mileage and tends to force people down the same three or four routes, and isn't smart enough to understand when you're trying to avoid a bad route it is suggesting. The new update also prevents me from accurately reporting closures because I'm prevented from selecting on the map what specific road/how long of a segment of that road is closed.

1 star because the app is getting worse. When there's a standstill traffic and nobody is moving at all, somehow the app says the traffic is moving 20 mph. It's not. It's stopped. Also when there is construction, it does not warn you ahead of time so you can take alternate routes or exit. I literally just get stuck in standstill traffic during construction. Often times it reports construction incorrectly as a hazard. Also very poor Android Auto support. Half the time the screen is not responsive.

Offering extensive functionality, this app competes well with other navigation apps. The main differences lie in user preference and GUI design. I encountered two drawbacks: one specific to this platform and another in a different app. Fortunately, one of these issues was resolved in a recent update, improving full-screen map display on larger vehicle infotainment screens. However, one feature that seems to be missing is satellite view. Apart from that, it's a solid choice.
