The app doesnt do much except book a ride that will most likely be late because the app was giving the driver bad directions. Have not been pleased with the app but the drivers have been awesome. Hope they get a fair shake sometime soon. And no i will not contact you. You should contact your developers and the board of directors and tell them to get it together, the drivers make a living from the ecosystem you created.
I was in ortigas waiting for my uber toyota vios vy9077. I sms him to pick me up in taxi bay lane. While he was in sm megamall. When he was neared to my place i was surprised he didn't went to the place i told him and he send an sms that he will go in bus lane. And i replied its ok we will cross and go to bus lane. And then my wife saw the car and he didn't stop for us. He said he is not allowed to pick up in the bus lane. From the very start the place i sms to him allowed to pick up passenger. So surprising he canceled our booking and i need to pay 100. Please don't used uber. It is not worth it!
What's wrong with you guys, after recent update whenever m trying to.book a cab it ask me to scan my debit or credit card, which he takes after 10 min. Of me holding my card and hoping it will scan but it won't, anyhow it does scan after it says process error something like that. Can't even book my ride without scanning credit card what non sense is this..
They are the worst app when you travel international. First they do not link my payment method on uber with uber eats ... then their team takes 2 days to get back. After which instead of resolving they delete my account. The beauty is that the deactivate link does not work. Just unhappy with Uber. Horrible experience. Just horrible
UPDATE: Just learned of the data breach that happened in 2016. This reinforces my decision to not do any further business with a company whose business ethics are basically non-existent. There were problems from the start with this company and as current news stories have heralded, it's not getting any better.
Uber has started giving worst service in Bangalore. And their customer support is pathetic. They don't even care to answer your queries. They don't even bother to reply or resolve the issue. I have already gone to the help section and tried. And there is no escalation matrix as well. So what should be my next course of action? Consumer forums? Seriously am very much frustrated with their service.
