Updating my 2 star review to a 1 star. Wire is now garbage. I have to force stop and restart the app at least once a day to ensure that I receive messages and messages are sent on my Pixel 8 Pro. A messaging app that you cannot rely on to send and receive messages reliably and on time? That's a useless app. 14/05/2023 What's new in the May update is functionality I loved disappearing. 😡 In app voice recording has gone. Text search within a conversation has gone. 🙁 Thanks for the update. Not.

Used to be an okay app, easy to use, very basic features but more than enough for casual use. Now it doesn't work. I've been stuck in a constant state of "waiting for network" and "decrypting messages" for the past week. I already wasn't as keen on the new version compared to the last one I had installed (about two years ago), and if this bug isn't fixed soon, I'll be uninstalling.

Good idea. Still a nightmare to use! I do wanna like this app as it has great features and kind of well organized. But it just won't work! It's like going through hell using it. Freezing every two seconds, keeps crashing, sometimes I don't even get to open it that it's already crashing or freezing! You scroll up the chat to read what happened and it keeps dragging you down. It's hell! And such a waste.
