I've been using Robinhood for a few years now. It's user-friendly and makes recurring investments easy. I started off with very small recurring investments not having much knowledge in the stock market. But quickly got comfortable with the easy to understand interface and everything they offer. I signed up for the Gold program, got the Gold card, and recently set up a bank account. The fee will easily pay for itself if you take advantage of the APY. The only negative is the lack of div tracking.

DO NOT USE THIS - THERE ARE FAR BETTER, DIRECT APPS. Robin Hood will do ANYTHING to try and hold on to your money, and claim it's "for your security." I hope you never have to get a new phone! Say goodbye to your money! This app is a middle man, when there are other apps that allow you to buy directly, without having to wait DAYS for processing and uncertainty (meaning you can try to buy when a stock is low, and by the time it processes, it has already doubled in value, and you missed out!!!)

DO NOT GET SCAMMED BY THIS COMPANY. Their execution times for purchasing and selling are so much slower than other brokers! They always screw you over by giving you a way worse price when you buy and sell at market price. Not to mention the amount of errors and glitches that you get. For example, you buy an option and it does not even show up on Robinhood Legend, their web-based platform, and you have to panic and log into your app from your phone to get rid of your positions. SCAM, stay away!
