• No online account yet? Then create it directly via the home screen in the app.

Ratings and reviews

lot better than the previius one, but still missing a lot of features. A secure contact/messengibg option would be my #1 request: calling is not always an option, especially in more remote parts of the world. An internet connection however can usually be found somewhere. Other requested features: points overview, transferring points, making and managing travel reservations, disputing a transaction, etc.

Very bad app. The app had a chat function that is terrible. You cannot attach document or screenshot to explain a problem, you cannot edit you last message to fix typo. You cannot copy any text from the chat to quote what the agent wrote earlier. If you're too slow to type, the Amex agent will just go away. I had to chat with 3 different agents in 30 min because my typing was too slow. website is not translated in English (even Dutch banks translate do) So after 15 years I closed my account.

Two days ago I was able to open the app. Yesterday it pointed it is not compatible with my device. Google Play is as bad as anything, because it says the app is incompatible, but gives no reason. Is there any explanation for this? Decreasing stars rate for lack of response from developers...
