Annoying History Problem - AMEX app This app will take over chrome history to the point that whenever a link is launched, the first thing that comes up is the AMEX login screen. Even after deinstallng the app, which I have done, the problem persists. Will not use app until the problem is fixed. Even clearing history in Chrome, for the beginning of time, does not solve the problem.
Please bring back landscape mode I was forced to upgrade to "Amex Mobile" in October from version 4.4.3 of the "Amex" app, but this newer version doesn't appear to support landscape orientation on my Samsung Galaxy tablet. This is especially inconvenient as I have a case that holds my tablet on a tabletop only in that orientation. Also, it seems some other features may be missing in this 'lite' version of what was previously a great mobile experience.
I expect more from Amex.... Finally got fingerprint....yay! The new format is confusing to follow...why are pending transactions mixed up with posted? Also, LOSE THE ADVERTISEMENTS!!! For an example of a great app, take notes from Capital One
Update terrible!! The latest update is terrible. The posted charges and pending charges are now mixed together. So you'll see a few posted charges then a pending charge then a posted then a few pending. Keeping the posted and pending charge separate is a much better way of keep track of what the total Balance actually reflects. Terrible, terrible set up.
Pretty good easy to use. Love the app. No so sure about amex . You really really have to be careful with their fees. They (amex) offer the points which sounds great but when it comes to pay those fees the all your points are worth nothing ( I didn't pay all the balance last September 2016 big mistake felt the pain for the next 3 months). So be careful. Happy new year folks.
Great but needs purchase alerts. I would like to see a choice where we can set a purchase a large amount say $5 or something that shows up in our text messages when your card is used. This would help prevent additional fraud if someone is using your card and you don't get alerted by it early
