Great design but it the app never shows you your real time balance, after charges/payments have posted, on the home screen. To see this information you have to hit the menu button on the upper left and look under total balance. This is the only credit card app that I have seen behave this way.
The fingerprint login stopped all of a sudden .. I unlock my phone with fingerprint and login to supported apps with fingerprint only.. Before the latest the fingerprint login was working great. Please resolve this issue supper team. Apart from this everything is 5 🌟
I don't write reviews for banking apps often but this one deserves a shout out. I can always reach customer service, the app is easy and clear to use and there is not one thing I can say is bad. Very good compared to BoA and wells Fargo
The app takes a long time to open and frequently stops running in the middle of using it. Its also "under maintenance" alot. It sucks.
Too complex, static. Put main function buttons on bottom of screen "balance, rewards, offers, etc". Don't bury in menus. Above that put cards you can swipe between. So simple.
Fingerprint login no longer works. Used to work in a previous version. Latest update no longer works. Using Galaxy S7 Edge with fingerprint authentication ON. Fingerprint unlocks my phone with no problem, but no longer works on this app, even thought I selected to allow fingerprint login.

If you also have notifications for this Card enabled in a mobile wallet, you may receive more than one notification. Remember, you can adjust which alerts you receive at any time within “Push Notifications” in the Amex app settings.
