Absolute garbage app. Can't navigate away from it while booking or it needs to start your booking over again. Did that several times and then just got stuck in a login loop where it would allow me to start booking again, only to then tell me my session expired and log me out again. Do the devs assume you memorize all of your travel info and will never need to navigate away from the app while booking? Why is this app so buggy?

Prices are sometimes competitive, but not regularly. Interface is very frustrating when searching for hotels, single biggest gripe on this app. Want to search for a hotel in a specific area? Good luck. When searching for "Newark Airport" in the location box, the search returns over 800 results, with the top listings in Manhattan and Brooklyn. No map and no way to filter by location (other than an arbitrary list of neighborhoods, not including the airport). Absolutely infuriating system.

Amex Travel is easy to use and trustworthy, in my experience. The prices are competitive and, sometimes cheaper, than Expedia and Trip Advisor. I like that Amex is a reputable booking option, unlike some 3rd party travel booking companies where you have to worry they will keep your money and not actually pay your hotel bill. There are no customer reviews about the quality of hotels like you would find on Google Map app or Trip Advisor, so do your hotel quality research before booking with Amex
