This app is the command center for your Velop system and Linksys Smart WiFi routers. Use the Linksys app anywhere you have an internet connection to check connected devices, set up guest access, or keep your kids off the internet when they should be doing homework.

Our Velop product line features Bluetooth setup. In Android 6 and higher, apps must request location permissions to use Bluetooth. We don't collect or use any location information in our app.

This app is a joke. Tried using it to finish setting up my mesh. When first trying to sign in via the router it kept saying it couldn't find it. Then I created an account and when I try to add an existing mesh, it doesn't even search for one. When I click the button, it pops up instantly saying something went wrong and to call them.

some recent update seems to have broken the app. Now when you open the app, it tells you that the router has no Internet connection. But if you troubleshoot without doing anything, it shows the connection is fine and running properly but only if you are connectted to the home network. It prevents the ability to connect the router remotely. Linksys can you fix this?

Not a great start setting up a Velop mesh network. Each step says it can take up to a minute but takes several. App locked up twice during process, although it did generally pick up where it left off. Now I'm adding the additional nodes (why didn't the setup do this) and it takes 4-6 minutes per node! Seems you can't switch away from the app while it chugs away. Eero knocks this stuff out in like 5 minutes total. Now it wants access to my contacts. Very not impressed.

What’s new

We added a way to see your network topology at a glance. Plus, you can now block malicious websites and adult content through Safe Browsing with Fortinet Secure DNS and Cisco OpenDNS. As always, we zapped more bugs to improve your experience.
