Ratings and reviews

I don't know what people are complaining about, this app works fine. For clarity, no, this app doesn't allow you to play PC games on mobile, because that's not how software works. It's basically the app version of the steam website, with some additional features. The QR code login feature is VERY convenient, as I frequently need to sign into my Steam account on other devices, and this app lets do it with the push of a button.

They made purchasing gifts difficult, trying to buy gifts for others, but their stupid "personalized bundles" which you can't buy as a gift, are extremely annoying. App used to be decent, a lot of the updates have completely ruined it. The new cart system, and checking out games absolutely sucks, buying gifts for people is now tedious. Instead of setting a delivery for all games to one person, you now have to set it for each individual game.

If there was a viable alternative to Steam, I would happily use it. Until then we're stuck with this garbage. Support sucks, the app and interface even on a actual computer is pretty garbage, and they only care about you if you've spent your life savings on games. Unless you're really into gaming and just have thousands of dollars to throw away, do yourself a favor and just get an Xbox or Playstation. Even a Switch.
