Can't send picture in chat. Update: they still haven't fixed this issue. It's been broken for multiple people for weeks. Still can't send pictures in the app (and it's been quite a while since a lot of people reported this issue)but now I am also getting loads of input lag randomly. I have to force close it and reopen to get rid of it.

Extremely poorly made app and a huge regression from the previous integrated Steam + chat one. The functionality is markedly worse, with multiple frequent issues: messages fail to appear in the conversation, notifications aren't grouped, random freezes when taking almost any action, and pressing the back button on any of the main screens causes content to disappear. This feels like an unfinished intern project that no one reviewed before it got pushed out. Not a single update in months.

Crashes every time I try to send a message. Worthless app. Messengers have only been around for decades at this point. Must be pretty hard to recreate something that's been around that long... Update: doesn't crash anymore, thankfully, but is still a pretty miserable chat app. Can't send images or other attachments. When you try it just doesn't work.
